About Us Watson Lake Community Outreach, has been serving the community since 1979, incorporated in 1985. As a Watson Lake based non-profit organization, we offer many services for job seekers and employers. Our office is equipped with two public computers for internet job search and resume writing, a fax machine and photocopier, as well as information about government programs, student funding, local and non-local employment opportunities. |

1. Can I come in to apply for Employment Insurance? Not anymore. We no longer handle EI Claims or forms. If you would like to apply for EI, you can do one of the folloing things: -You can call the EI Teledesk at 1-800-206-7218 -Visit their website Here, for an online form -Or, visit the Service Canada station at the Northern Lights Center and they will be happy to assist you. 2. Do you close for lunch hour? No, we're open straight from 8:30am until 5pm PST. 3. Do you close for weather conditions? (Ex. It reaches -40C) No, we'll be open unless something bad happens. 4. Will you add my Business to your Business Section? Only if your business is in the Watson Lake area. If you are and would like to be added please contact us. We will also be happy to link to your website if you happen to have one. 5. I have a local job opening at my business, will you post it on your website? Yes, please email, phone, or fax us with all the information and we will add it to the website. The website will be updated whenever we receive new postings. |
