About Us

Watson Lake Community Outreach has been serving the community since 1979, incorporated in 1985. As a Watson Lake based non-profit organization, we offer many services for job seekers and employers. Our office is equipped with two public computers for internet job search and resume writing, a fax machine and photocopier, as well as information about government programs, student funding, local and non-local employment opportunities.

Career Planning We are available to assist the unemployed in making career plans or transitions. If you are making a plan to go to school or change your career, it is important to know some labour market Information before you start:

- Are there any sponsoring agencies that can help?
- Is there a big demand for a certain skill?
- What is the earning potential for your new career?
- Are there opportunities for advancement in this feild?
